Classroom Needs
Also, we do a lot of activities and assignments on the iPad which also requires the use of (2.) earbuds or headphones and it is important each student has a pair. Could you please make sure your kiddo has a set that either stays in their backpack or locker at school? They, by no means, need to be an expensive pair. Dollar Tree and the Target Dollar Spot usually have some ranging from $1 to $3. Thank you so much!

This week in ELAR
This week we will continue learning about sensory language and visualizing. The big questions we will still focus on are:1. How can the author's use of sensory language enhance your understanding of a text? and 2. How does the way we use language affect the way we communicate? We will end this unit with a test on Friday. We will also continue to differentiate between commonly confused homophones, such as: its, it's, your, you're and their, there and they're. Our academic vocabulary for this week is: sensory language, visualize, elaborate and word choice.
Please continue to make sure your kiddo is doing their daily reading log and logging at least 20 minutes of reading a day and completing iStation on Wednesdays! I have really enjoyed reading their logs each week and seeing their thought process!
