Superintendent Message

November 18, 2022

Dear EPSD Family,

Next week, schools will be closed November 21-25. This provides time to refocus, reflect, and be grateful. I want to express my gratitude for parents and caregivers. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us every day. They bring us joy. Thank you to our community partners for your continued partnership with our schools. It takes a village. Thank you to the EPSD staff for your hard work and dedication to our students and to each other. I see your positive impact. I also want to thank all of our stakeholders who have been part of our strategic planning committee this fall. Thank you for your time and dedication. Our next 5-year strategic plan is not finalized yet, so I can't talk about the specifics, but here is a sneak peak of the top 3 priority areas:

  • Family and Community Partnership
  • Academic Achievement, Growth, and Cultivating the Whole Learner
  • Healthy and Supported Staff and Students

I am excited for the future of our schools and our community. Take time during this break to enjoy your family and friends and express your gratitude for those you love.
