What is CPR?
CPR is an emergency procedure that is performed on people who are suffering from cardiac arrest. The purpose of CPR is to provide a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain until other procedures can be performed to restore the person's heartbeat and breathing.
1. Identify, Check, and Call
Identify yourself showing that you are certified. Check the victim for a response. If the person is not responsive and not breathing or not breathing normally. Call 911 and return to the victim.
2. Apply compressions
