Bangladesh and Pakistan War
This war was a significant event in the history of Pakistan, and this had a large effect on the country. The war was started as an attempt for Bangladesh to gain its independence from the control of Pakistan. This was a very brutal and bloody war, and researches estimate a total of 300,000 to 3,000,000 casualties. The war began in 1971 and ended later in the year when the Pakistan general signed terms of surrender with the Indian general in December of that year. This paved way for the independent nation of Bangladesh.

Pakistan is made up of over 100,000,000 people, the majority of the ethnic makeup being Muslim. Urdu is the primary language, like an extended Arabic and English is also commonly used. Islam is largely practiced, with Muslims praying five times a day during significant parts of their day such as; Dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset and evening. People are more often to greet each other personally, and asks how they are as well as how their family is doing.
Ramadan is also celebrated, and it entails that you must fast from dusk until dawn. Fasting includes eating, drinking, and other dirty habits such as smoking and chewing gum. Pakistan culture heavily revolves around personal relations and religion as well as the language.
