aspersion
Aspersion involves slander and ill-will to another person. Here they are slandering these stars by sensationalizing (hyping up) their divorces
antagonism
He is antagonizing the boy by posting him up on the locker.
aloofness
Just like the cat, when you are aloof you think that you are above everything. "Whatever" -- you are beyond it.
diplomacy
Diplomacy is the use of TACT to negotiate and achieve your desired result. People that are DIPLOMATIC have the ability to express contrary ideas.
ambivalent
Uncertain. The scholar is ambivalent about whether to study Chemistry or Biology in college.
judicious
Showing good judgement. Your sons are so judicious! They always come home and start doing their homework immediately.
