The mandrill is an amazing looking animal! A mandrill size is 3 ft on all four and up to 6 ft standing. The mandrills weight is 77 lbs. The color of my animal's face is red, blue, and white. My animals skincover is grey, black, and tan. A mandrill has long cannies. A mandrill is mammal.
Habitat Information
The mandrill lives so many places. Some places like Africa , in south western Cameroon, New Guinea and South Congo. They live in the rain forest.
Preditor & Prey
The mandrill has so many enemies! The mandrill's enemies are leopards, eagles and snakes. To protect itself, it shows its razor sharp teeth to scare away animals. They also travel in humongous groups called troops. The large groups scare preditors away. The mandrill has a lot of prey! The mandrill eats fruits, insects ,and roots . The mandrill gets his food in the jungle. It picks with its fingers to get its food .
Fascinating Facts
I learned many awesome facts about the mandrill. Their top speed for running is 25 mph. The mandrills closest relative is a baboon. The mandrill's scientific name is mandrill sphinx. Did you know that the mandrill makes colorful poop? Well it does because of the colorful berries it eats.
