Message from the SWAMP

Our Grade 9's had their informational sessions this week with Paul Kane and Bellerose High School, make sure you ask your student about it!


Next Friday's lunch is Subway, don't forget to place your order by Sunday at 11:59pm.


Come cheer on our Senior Girls and Boys Basketball teams in the quarter finals at LA on Monday, Feb. 27. Girls vs Gish at 4pm and Boys vs Tache at 5:15pm.

Outdoor Ed

When it's -30 outside we have to bring Outdoor Ed inside! The Outdoor Ed students used avalanche transceivers to practice avalanche safety.

Strathcona Wilderness Cross County Ski Trip

The kids enjoyed some beautiful weather last week on their Cross Country Ski trip to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre.

Healthy Hunger Lunches

If your child is away and has ordered hot lunch, please email or call the office by 11:00 a.m. to direct your child’s hot lunch. It can be given to a sibling/another student or can be picked up in the office starting at 12:30.

ATTENDANCE/SIGN IN/SIGN OUT

If your child will be absent, please email la@spschools.org or call 780-460-3728 (this is 24 hrs and you can leave a voicemail)


If a student needs to leave early, the office MUST hear from a parent/guardian. Please email or call the office and we will allow the student to sign out & meet you outside (or walk home).


If a student will arrive late, they are to sign in at the office. If we have been informed the student will be late, that will be an excused late. Without hearing from a parent, the student would be marked as unexcused.
