Tiger Press

Weeks of Sept. 19th & Sept. 26th

Tiger Tidbits and Thank yous!

-We hope you all can make it to our school carnival to enjoy a night with your families and our school families. It is such a fun event and the best part is that you get to see your students in a different light outside of the classroom.

-Thank you to our PTO committee members who have been working so hard to get everything ready for the carnival!

-So exciting to see so much learning happening in the classrooms this past two weeks. Math journals, Number Talks, lots of manipulatives in use, kids engaged in breaking down numbers and data collection-all of these such important lessons for number sense.

Reminders/Announcements

-We are so lucky to have the CSUSM Tutors here 4 days a week. Now that you are in the 4th week of school, it is important to have them start interacting/tutoring or working with students rather than "prep" kinds of work. If you cannot find a way to have them working directly with students, please let Kari know.
