Welcoming Wildcats

A new group has been started at JMS to help with two specific missions: 1) to provide students who are new to our school with a welcome gift that includes a few Jasper spirit pieces and 2) to help students throughout the year who need clothing items provided for them. Our first initiative is to help get more spirit wear out to people . . . parents, siblings, grandparents, students . . . so that everyone has a chance to show their Jasper pride. We have set up an online store for people to purchase from. A portion of all sales will go into the Welcoming Wildcats fund. Additionally, on the store is a DONATE button where people can simply donate to our mission if they don’t want to purchase anything or in addition to their purchase. Please check out the online store at THIS LINK. Or, see the attached flyer. There are items at various price points, quality, and name brands.

8th Grade Washington DC Trip and Fundraisers

Students can still sign up for this trip! There is still room on the buses if your child has not registered. Please do so as soon as possible, though, to ensure a seat. Once the 4th bus is filled, we will not be able to take any more students.

Fundraiser forms and payment are due Monday, November 7

Please make sure the student’s name and a phone number are on the form

Double check your payment to ensure it matches the total amount due

Delivery is estimated for the week of December 5

Each week of the school year, we will be recognizing two Students of the Week for each grade level. Students are nominated for this recognition by staff members for a variety of reasons. It could be based on Academics, Behavior, Character, or Improvement. All of the nominees are then voted upon by the staff to identify the six winners for that week. This week's winners include:

L4G and Project 13:34

With the seasons changing and temperatures getting cooler, we are sure parents are pulling out the next season's clothes and finding out that their children have outgrown them. Although growth is a fact of life, some families just can't afford to replace the clothing their children have outgrown. LG4 just wants to remind everyone that we are still here and willing to help those families in need. We have attached request forms for your convenience.
