A1 Turtles Update
Week 8 - October 5th
This Week...
We learned lots of interesting things about community helpers this week! It was fun to hear all of the Talker's club interviews. During centers this morning we got to flex our creative muscles with Osmo Masterpiece. Ask your kiddos about what they drew. Thank you Hanna Stralman and Brinda Pitchumani for helping our class on Tuesday with Art Vistas. I also want to thank Priscella Ma and Joyce Wong for helping in centers this morning. Please take a moment to look over the math work that comes home in the Friday folder. The Friday Center Schedule is at the bottom of this newsletter. There are some openings that need helpers. It can also be found on my website. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

Staying Healthy!
We have had an important class meeting and read a new story, relating to a growing class concern I have had. Many kiddos have had their fingers in their nose and mouth. We watched a great story about respecting our nose contents. I have attached the Youtube link below. It is an important topic to address in general, but especially as we enter cold and flu season.

Friday Folders
There is a yellow folder in your child’s backpack we call the Friday Folder. It also contains new home/school communication. This folder needs to be returned, EMPTY, every Monday! Our yellow Friday folder will contain class work in the right hand pocket. This will come home WEEKLY. If you have questions, please email me and I can help! Thank you!
