Maverick Minutes
January 8-12
When there are no losers!
I am so glad that I work with people who do that on a daily basis. You work hard in PLC's, share your planning and lesson plans with others and ultimately want the best for all of our Mavericks. I've worked in places where that is not always the case. I've worked in places where adults give up on kids, compete with coworkers and ultimately lose the essence of why we are in this profession.
Enjoy the game Monday night. Whether pulling for the Dawgs or watching your RollTide Roll on...remember those are kids playing...not too much older than our Bulls across the street. Remember in your daily interactions with students that we have to be here for them and sometimes they can be downright frustrating, but we don't want any losers, we don't want anyone left behind, falling through the cracks. If we take a minute, we can figure out a different way to help them achieve some of their goals if all of the seem out of reach.
Have a great week...the weather should be warmer!
