Caroline Salas

She is a sophomore at Lehman High School. She is in the top ten percent of her class, recently accepted in the National Honor Society, advanced mathematics, and advanced placement classes. She is apart of the color guard as guard captain and plays string bass for the band. She spends her free time altar serving and teaching religious classes at her local church. She hopes to go to MIT or study Leadership Engineering at UTEP. She wants to grow up to be a drill writer and color guard instructor, because she wants to change teens lives like it changed her's.
"I am so excited to represent Lehman at the State Seminar, but the World Seminar allows me to meet with kids my age all around the world into the same thing I am: Leadership. We all want to make a difference, and inspire others. I am determined to make my way to Chicago and participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity! It would be life changing, and I hope that I can change other people live's and make a difference in my community."
