Changes to Onsite Learning: When to Expect More Information
Parents recently completed a survey to select their learning preference for the remainder of the school year. These changes will go into effect on April 6. As mentioned, we continue to explore ways to bring students on campus more frequently.
Below is a timeline as to when parents can expect additional information regarding what these changes will be:
Wednesday, March 17: Plan released highlighting how students will be onsite more frequently.
Thursday, March 18: Parent Forum scheduled at each school to answer questions
Friday, March 19: No student attendance, staff to use time to prepare for changes
April 6: Plan goes into effect
We recognize that once the plan is released, our parents will have questions. Therefore, we will utilize the Parent Forum scheduled for 7 pm on Thursday, March 18. The forum will be in person, therefore an RSVP is required.
You MUST submit your RSVP in advance via this Google Form by 9 pm Wednesday. There is a lot of planning and consideration involved to safely accommodate visitors to our buildings.
Wait...how can I submit my RSVP now before I review the plan?
You can wait until the plan is released to RSVP. However, if you know in advance this is a session you want to attend, we encourage you to please submit your RSVP now. Space will be limited.
How can I submit my questions?
When the plan is released on Wednesday, we will include a form you can complete to submit specific questions.
Will there be a remote option to watch the forum?
There will not be a live stream option, but a recording of the presentation will be available following the forum.

5th Grade Celebration
There will be a meeting for parents and teachers of students in the Butterfield 5th Grade Class, to plan for some end of the year experiences. We hope to put some extra energy in these activities for our students due to the challenging last year they had at Butterfield missing friends, teachers, and special moments!
Please join us on Tuesday, 3/16, at 6:00pm to sign up to volunteer and plan for our 5th graders!

Yearbook Orders Open April 1st
We are excited to safely welcome our students to Glenn Westlake Middle School to have their school/yearbook pictures taken for the 2020-2021 school year. HR Imaging will be photographing our students on Sat. March 13. We are confident in our safety procedures, as well as those of HR Imaging, to allow our students to be safely photographed.
