Principal's Message
This week Gateway celebrated two division titles! Our Boys' Tennis Program won the Colonial Conference Patriot Division Title. Our Girls' Lacrosse won their first Liberty Division Championship in program history. Congratulations!

Attention Seniors Attending RCSJ
Jeff Augustus, the Student Development Specialist for EOF at RCSJ is scheduled to come to Gateway on Tuesday, May 30th at 8:30am to discuss the Education Opportunity Fund (EOF) and provide assistance to you with your FAFSA and NJFAMS. This is a crucial step toward receiving funding for school.
Salem Community College Trip
On Friday 5/19, students from English classes taught by Mrs. Adrienne Evans, Mrs. Kelly Barrett and Ms.Brooke McCarthy spent time at a college visit learning about various degrees, certifications and programs offered at Salem Community College. This trip was used as a culminating activity at the end of the Junior English PBL unit which allowed students to research various career paths, as well as trade schools and colleges. The highlight of the trip was visiting the Glass Art program to see Science and Art in action as instructors demonstrated Scientific Glass and creative glass making. Salem Community College offers many programs to high school students, including some courses that are in partnership with Gateway for dual credit. It was an interesting and informative trip that definitely had something from everyone.
Gifted and Talented Program
Mr. James' AP Government and Politics Class
Mr. James' AP Government and Politics class recently generated their own board games displaying content learned throughout the course. Here is the class playing sophomore Andrea Mistichelli's Presidential Monopoly game.
