Principal Message
Dear Henry Families,
We hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Break! It's always such a nice break that can be full of so many different traditions and activities. We hope that whatever was planned for your family you had a moment to be thankful of all your blessings. At Henry, we are so thankful for all our supportive families and wonderful students!

Recess Items - Please leave personal equipment at home
We are requesting that all personal recess equipment (e.g. basketballs, soccer balls, footballs) stay at home. Our PTO has generously donated recess equipment, and we have many extra balls available to replenish our recess equipment bags as needed. This helps us avoid problems with the balls being used inappropriately during other parts of the day and on the school bus. Too much recess equipment can also be a safety issue, so we need your help ensure we have only the appropriate amount of equipment available.

Quick Updates
- Dressing for the weather... While the warmth was wonderful for so long and we enjoyed it immensely, we knew it would not last. Please make sure that your child is dressed to go outside for recess each day. Just a reminder that if the temperature and windchill is 20 or above, we will be going outside during recess. This would also be a great time to make sure that names are clearly marked on coats and other outerwear.
- If you are dropping off or picking up your child from school please stay inside your vehicle at all times. It is also imperative that your child enter and exit from the right side of the vehicle as we have two way traffic that is very close together near the building and it is unsafe for students to enter the car on the left. Please refrain from texting and using your mobile device while in the car rider line. Thank you for helping us to keep all students safe!
- Please ensure your child is arriving at school before 9:05 AM. We quickly begin our day by starting our video announcements and teachers then take attendance. It is important for your child to be part of these regular morning routines.
A Message from PTO
ATTENTION SECOND GRADE PARENTS: Please help us stock the lounge for the teachers/staff/administration. 2nd grade is responsible for the month of December.
