LifeGuard - Coming Soon
Lifeguard, the sexual health curriculum, will be delivered this year for 6th-9th graders. The curriculum has been updated to include the newly adopted Health TEKS that went into effect this year. The curriculum will be released to us after Spring Break. The format will be different as well as the content. The new curriculum will be delivered in a video format for use by teacher facilitators. It will be: watch the video lesson, pause for student comments, restart the video for the answers to be given, etc. Your child's science teacher will facilitate these lessons. The instruction is opt in only. Science teachers will be sending an opt in form home with your child for your signature. These forms will be collected by the teachers.
If you would like more information, there is a Virtual Parent Workshop: March 20th at 6:00pm We will send a virtual link out at a later time. Parents may also request to preview the curriculum here.
