Some helpful reminders...
- Please send any changes in transportation with your child in the morning, if possible. This gives the teachers an opportunity to remind your child, if appropriate.
- Remind your child of any changes.
- Keep your pick up number displayed in your car until your child comes to your vehicle. This assists our helpers in getting your child to your car as quickly and safely as possible.
- Continue to pull all the way forward. This helps tremendously in getting all the cars through the line quickly and safely.
Next PTO Meeting: September 7

Community Opportunities
DIRECT YOUR DOLLARS - SpartanNash Receipts
Emmons Lake has the opportunity to earn $1000 from SpartanNash, simply by shopping at any local company-owned store, including Family Fare Supermarkets, D&W Fresh Markets and Hardings Grocery and sending the receipt to school! This is VERY helpful, especially this year because we are unable to have any fundraisers thus far and we didn't have any at the end of last year!! Through the “Direct Your Dollars” program, we can turn eligible receipts into cash for our school! Just send your receipts to school with your child to give to his/her teacher. For every $150,000 in receipts we collect, we will earn a $1,000 donation from SpartanNash. We do need original receipts, so no photocopies. Start sending in those receipts!! We’ll collect them throughout the year. With your support – and your receipts – we’ll be raising money for our school. It’s easy to do!!!!

Message from the Principal...
First week of school is in the books and we couldn't be more grateful for our amazing Emmons tribe. Thank you staff, students, families, and community for helping to create such a positive and caring atmosphere for students!
We continue to work through some logisitical challenges with end of day transportation. Thank you to our families for following our drop off/pick up procedures to help keep students safe. It helps tremendously to have the cars pull all the way forward, have numbers clearly displayed the entire time, and watch closely for cars/students. First week always takes a little bit longer, but we look forward to getting that time in less than ten minutes like last year! We got this!
Bring on week two! It is going to be an amazing year!
As always, we hope you remember...
You are appreciated.
You are loved.
You matter.
Grateful to Serve With You,
Mrs. Schultz
