January 2020

Lorenzo Walker Technical High School Mission "Purpose" Statement

To create the ultimate career and college preparatory education program for all students to acquire skills for life.

We Need Your Vote January 20-24!

Lorenzo Walker Technical High School is in the running to be considered one of the most innovative schools and we need your support to win! There’s $30,000 on the line, so keep reading to learn how you can support our school.

Earlier this year, we entered the Follett Challenge, a program created by Follett to find and reward schools for their work applying technology, content and creativity in ways that engage students, foster literacy and promote critical thinking. As part of the competition, we created a short video about what makes our program unique.

Please support us by viewing our video and voting for our submission at www.follettchallenge.com at the following link: http://follettchallenge.com/videos/1348. Twenty percent of our total score is based on how well we spread the word about our video and earn votes! You can cast one vote per day January 20 – 24, 2020, so be sure to visit often!

By casting your vote, you’ll help us to spread the word about all the exciting activities going on in our school. The Grand-Prize winner will be announced on March 23, 2020 and will receive $30,000 in Follett products and services.

Thank you for your support. Your vote could make the difference in helping our school be crowned the Follett Challenge champion!
