Join Us for Our 1st PTO Meeting - Wed, Sept 29 @ 7:30 pm

Please join us for our first PTO meeting of the 2021-2022 school year on Wednesday, Sept 29th @ 7:30 pm. Due to COVID restrictions, our meeting will be virtual but we hope to resume holding in-person meetings again soon!


Monitor your email for an agenda and zoom link the day before the meeting. This is a great way to hear about our plans for the upcoming school year directly from Mrs. Binford and your PTO. This is also a great forum to ask questions and get up to date info about BGS! We hope to see you there!

Have a 4th grade girl who attends BGS that is interested in Girl Scouts? Troop 61092 is a newly formed Girl Scout Troop exclusively for 4th grade girls who attend BGS and we have openings! But act fast! Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 5th.

We heard your feedback! Our PTO has moved everything you need for the PTO to a simpler, more user friendly tool called PtBoard. This one-stop-shop is available via your web browser. In case you missed last week's announcement about PtBoard, detailed instructions can be found in the button below.

  • Go to bgspto.ptboard.com and click on “Sign Up” in the upper right corner
  • When asked, use school code XHAUPP
  • While you're there, make sure to purchase your PTO membership and donate to our BGS Staff Flood Relief Fund

Help BGS Staff Recover from the Floods

Help BGS Staff Recover from the Floods

Mrs. Heffernan (Miss Whalen), a 4th grade teacher, and Ms. Finnegan, a pre-school aide, both suffered catastrophic losses due to the recent floods. The PTO has setup a fund in PtBoard to directly help them. Please consider donating a small amount to help them get back on their feet. Feel free to share the link! You do not have to have a PtBoard login to donate!


Funds will be distributed directly to both staff members. The PTO will include additional staff members impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Ida as we become aware of them.
