Mission Statement

At Immaculate Conception STEM Academy, our mission is to prepare students to be faith-filled, active members of our global community. While using critical thinking and problem solving skills, students will be able to apply their Catholic education to engineer innovative solutions to influence the world around them.

Principal's Message

Dear IC STEM Families,

Just a reminder that report cards will be sent home on December 3. If you still need your gradelink login information, please contact Mrs. Rojas. Please direct any questions about your child's grades to the teacher. The beginning of the second trimester is a great opportunity to make new goals and help our students become more independent and focused.

I realize that our uniform company, CKW, may be low in stock on some items. If you are waiting for a sweater from CKW, your child may wear a navy blue sweater in the meantime. Please refer to the handbook for uniform guidelines regarding shoes and socks. All shoes must be either black or white, no high-tops or boots. Socks need to be white, navy blue, black, or gray. No designs. Nail polish is not permitted at school. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please turn in the required $50 gift card by Dec. 10. Some suggestions for the gift card are Amazon, Target, or Smart 'n' Final. You may also donate $50 cash if you prefer. This will count toward your fundraising requirement. We utilize these gift cards and donations to help with our Casino Night. Thank you!

With Thanksgiving soon approaching, I would like to take a moment to say how grateful I am to be part of this community. Being part of your child's educational journey has taught me to be humble, patient, and flexible. We wish you a peaceful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

School Devices

The iPads and Chromebooks that students use at school are school property and should be handled carefully. Please note that if your child drops the device and it gets damaged, we will need to charge a repair fee. A cracked iPad screen costs about $100 to repair. Please remind your child to handle the devices carefully. Only school accounts should be used on the school devices and settings should not be changed. Thank you.

Social Media Dangers

Do you know if your child has an Instagram, TikTok, or SnapChat account? If you do, do you have access to it and monitor it regularly?

The dangers of technology are great and can often have life-long consequences. The dangers include:

- Predators targeting children

- Inappropriate content

- Posts that they will regret but never be able to completely delete

- Cyberbullying

These are just a few of the dangers. Please make sure you are aware of the different sites and apps your child is using. We have filters that protect the students while on our school network.

Parent Volunteers

There are so many opportunities to share your ideas with the school. If you are interested in joining the PTO, becoming a room parent, joining our STEM Committee, or helping with the Golf Tournament, please let Mrs. Rojas know.

Also, if you would like to help with lunch time supervision, please let us know. You must be fingerprinted and Virtus trained.

Holiday Boutique

Save the Date: On Sunday, December 5th, IC will host a holiday boutique. If you are interested in being one of our vendors, please contact Mrs. Rojas. Thank you!

Important Reminder

If you need to visit the office, please adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a mask. All adults coming on campus must complete a screening on the Edverum Campus Screen App.
