Welcome to Nipher

Good morning. We are looking forward to working with your student this coming year. This newsletter contains important information about this summer and about your student's upcoming school year. Please take a moment to review the information and to sign up for 6th grade orientation. Thank you.

6th Grade Orientation

In order to welcome your student to Nipher in the fall, we are scheduling 6th grade orientation. Please choose one slot for your student to attend an hour-long orientation. During this orientation, students will receive their schedules, tour the building, and engage in team building activities. Date options are:

8/2 at 5:00pm
8/2 at 6:00pm
8/8 at 8:00am
8/8 at 9:00am.

Here is the sign-up. You are also welcome to come to Nipher with your student on 8/8 between 10:00am and 6:00pm to get your student's picture taken and independently walk their schedule.

Do not worry if your student cannot attend any of these orientation dates and times. Please know you can stop by the main office any time after August 8th between 8:00 and 3:00pm to pick up your schedule and walk the building. If your student is unable to get their picture taken on August 8th, we will have a time during the school day for students to take their picture (date: TBA)

Welcome to the library!

Meet Mrs. White (right) and Ms. Groves (left). They are your librarians here at Nipher and are amazing at helping you foster your love of reading. There are three dates over the summer where you can come to the library and check out books. They are 6/14, 7/20 and 8/8 between 10:00am-1:00pm. What a great opportunity to complete your summer reading.
