3rd - 9 WEEKS (WEEK 8) - 3RD GRADE SKILLS BLOCK

* Multiplication/Division Fact Fluency-each student is working on activities to support their individual goal


* Review Division problems-Make sure students can describe what must be solved for in the problem. Am I trying to find out A)how many are IN each group? B)how many groups there are? C) The total number of pieces - Division problems should have the missing piece in any of the spaces: ex. 16 ÷ 8=?. ?÷8=2, 16÷?=2 – Students may choose to solve the problem using multiplication or division but equation should match the story given.


* Solve problems involving time using analog and digital clocks: See released STAAR April 2014 question #20, 23 and released STAAR April 2013 question # 40
