Hawk Happenings
October 18th - 29th
Here's what's happening at Spring Lake
We have several events coming up this month including Red Ribbon Week and Halloween. We want to remind parents about our Reflections Contest which is going on now. Fall break would be a great time to work on Reflections projects so you can submit them by the October 27th deadline (see below for more information).
Have a wonderful FALL BREAK!
Halloween Parade!
If we experience inclement weather, we ask parents to log on from home and watch the parade virtually on our website.
Students may wear their Halloween costumes to school that day. As a reminder, costumes should meet the dress standards for school. Masks will only be allowed during the parade, but not at any other time throughout the day. Please remember that weapons of any kind (even toy weapons) should be left at home.
We look forward to this fun annual event and invite you to join us!
Red Ribbon Week - October 24th - 29th
On Monday, October 24th, students will take the "Pledge to Be Drug Free" by creating their own paper jack-O-lantern and gluing it on our "We're All AGLOW to Just Say No!" poster. Each student who takes the pledge will be given a glow-stick!
Throughout the week we will have different theme days that are listed on the flyer below. It would be a great idea to talk with your children at home about living a drug free life.

Reflections Contest
The theme for this year is "I Will Change the World By..."
The students only have a couple more weeks to get all of their Reflections Art entries submitted. The due date is Wednesday, October 27th.
Fall break would be a great time to work on your entries!
