Lincoln Weekly Update
November 21, 2018
Note from Mr. Schulte
It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is this week. Each year seems to go faster than the one prior. I encourage you to spend some time in the next few days to slow down and reflect both individually and with family on those things for which you are thankful. In terms of Lincoln Elementary, here is a portion of my list:
I am thankful for...
- boys and girls who are excited to learn things each and every day.
- teachers who, each day, teach, counsel and love their students.
- a school staff who helps make our building a safe and welcoming.
- parents who love and support their children, offering grace when mistakes are made.
- for a community that values education and supports us with prayer, volunteering and financial resources.
Please have a blessed Thanksgiving break with family and friends. We will see you back next week.

Recess Gear - Snow Pants and Boots
Please send your child with Snow Pants and Boots anytime there is snow on the ground. It helps keep them warm and dry at recess.
Items to send with your child to school:
Winter Coat
Hat
Gloves
Snow Pants
Boots (for outside)
Shoes (for inside)
and A partridge in a pear tree.
Please know that if money is short and you need help with winter weather gear, please stop by and see Sheri or Mr. Schulte in the office. We have donations made each year to help supply those things for students. We would be happy to get winter items for your child. We just need to know sizes for items needed.
