What is Child Abuse?

Child Abuse is the physical mistreatment or sexual molestation of a child. Some people may think that child abuse is just somebody giving a child a black eye, but it doesn't end there. Child Abuse is also hurting a child in a way so emotional and scarring that they lose all sense of hope and fall into anxiety, depression, and fear. Child Abuse is something no innocent child deserves.

Every day, nearly 4 children die from Child Abuse. Every year, more than 3 million suffer from the same fate. The children of today are the adults of tomorrow. They don't deserve a life like this. Without child abuse, more children will have a chance to be happy. Emotional abuse gives children depression and anxiety. Physical abuse can lead to anti-social behavior and aggression in coming years. These are two pros about ending child abuse. Not as many children will have to suffer. With help, there may be a chance to fill a child with real hopes and dreams rather than fear.
