Prevents sex based discrimination in pay
Job may not be identical, but must be substantially equal
The amount of effort and mental exertion affects the pay
More responsibility = more pay

Purpose
Depresses wages and living standards for employees necessary for their health and efficiency
Prevents the maximum utilization of the available labor resources
Constitutes an unfair method of competition.

Any employee under an amusement or recreational establishment, organized camp, or religious or non-profit educational conference center
Any employee under a bona fide excecutive
