Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year
Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence
October 2023
I am thrilled to share with you that Pinnacle Classical Academy's high school ranks number 1 in Cleveland County, among the top 50 high schools in North Carolina, and among the top 6% of nearly 25,000 high schools in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's newly released 2023-24 ranking of America's best public high schools.
This incredible accomplishment is a direct result of our school working together to achieve great results. The strong foundation that our elementary and middle school provides allows for us to build a high school that ranks number one in the county and in the in the top 6% in the nation.
We are excited to expand our classroom space beginning August 2024 to offer more students an opportunity to attend a top ranked high school.
Stay "In the Know" about Supporting Charter Schools
I am excited to share with you about the launch of the North Carolina Coalition for Charter School's new parent newsletter, CharterBeat.
“I don’t have much time – give me the key points!”
Public charter schools were created in 1996. Their popularity has grown.
Public policy debates play out all the time that impact public charter schools.
Some proposed policies, however, seek to limit charter autonomy or growth.
The N.C. Coalition for Charter Schools is a nonpartisan, nonprofit advocacy organization, and our school is a member.
This fall, the Coalition is starting a parent-focused monthly newsletter, CharterBeat, to share important information on public policy debates impacting charter schools.
You can sign up by visiting https://nc.chartercoalition.org/parent-newsletter/ if you’re interested.
Our school is a member of the N.C. Coalition for Charter Schools, a nonpartisan, nonprofit advocacy group that represents the interests of 72 public charter schools around the state. This fall, the Coalition is launching a monthly newsletter, CharterBeat, focused on informing parents of the latest policy developments impacting public charter schools. The Coalition and its newsletter are nonpartisan – they focus solely on educating policymakers and the public on matters related to charter schools
