Weekly Update
Dear Gates Mills Families,
Thank you for another wonderful and productive school year. I can’t thank everyone enough for your endless hours of volunteering, reading, organizing, donating and doing whatever was necessary to support students—both at home and at school.
A special thanks to our PTC who, as usual, went above and beyond the call of duty to provide whatever was necessary to add to our students’ already rich school experience.
That experience could not occur without the endless energy, skills and devotion of the Gates Mills staff. Thanks and well done to an incredible group of professionals.
A final word to Gates Mills students: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. I am so honored to be your principal; you make me proud to be a Gates Mills Fox! I am grateful for your joy, insights and amazing talents. Best wishes to our graduating fifth graders, whom I will miss greatly—please come back and visit.
To those families who are leaving us for new places and adventures, we wish you all the best! To families who are returning, we will continue to communicate any changes that may occur through-out the summer, please see the most current return to school plans below.
Everyone have a safe and happy summer break. Until next school year, here’s wishing you love, laughter and learning.
Keep Smiling,
Mrs. Ravida

Mrs. Christy Christensen - Integrated Arts Specialist
Hi everyone! My name is Christy Christensen and I will be joining the Gates Mills Family next year as the Integrated Arts teacher. I was the long term sub for fourth grade this year so I am thrilled to be coming back to Gates Mills. My family and I moved to Ohio in June 2020. I taught 2nd grade for three years, in Utah and Texas before taking a break to have kids. While my four children were growing up, I became a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I cannot wait to combine my love for education and fitness in this new class. I look forward to working with all of the families in the Gates Mills community.
