See the following message below regarding families who may find themselves homeless at any given time for Burlington County residents.
If a family is in emergency need of housing or homeless they can either call 211 themselves or an agency can call 211 for them. They will be put up for the night in a room. The next business day they will have an appointment with Board of Social Services. Also, if they need housing on a Friday or non business day or holiday they will be housed for free in a room until the next available business day where they can get their appointment for additional services. 211 is getting state funding to take over the homeless hotline live. Burlington County will be rolling it out first and will be doing this process. It is Free, confidential, available 24/7.

The school district offers FREE PROGRAMS to preschool handicapped children. To be eligible a child must be 3-5 years old and qualify for services. Children under 3 may be served by early intervention programs. We believe the sooner a child's special needs can be determined, the better that child's chances to receive an appropriate education and develop his/her potential.
