Bond Refunding May Save More than a Million Dollars

The Board of Education voted Monday evening to refund a series of the district's general obligation bonds which may save the district an anticipated $1.4 million.

Summer Bond Construction Projects

Students and staff came back to freshly paved parking lots, new lighting, updated intercoms, new chillers and water heaters throughout the district. The work spanned the district. Morton Elementary School received noticeable updates inside and out. Work began on major renovations to Norris Elementary and Central Middle School. Other visible projects included Andersen Middle School's new gym floor, Millard North High School's new bleachers and Millard North Middle School's irrigation and track replacement.

Upcoming Bond Construction Projects

The Board moved several construction projects forward Monday night. The design was approved for Hitchcock Elementary School. The Millard West High School chiller will be replaced. The Board also approved the first steps in the renovation of Millard South High School.
