Comp Day: January 4, 2016

Documentation due December 5, 2015.

What is a comp day?

A comp day is a regularly scheduled workday that an employee may choose not to attend because he or she has chosen to attend staff development on his or her own time.

In order to comp out of Monday, January 4, 2016 an employee must complete 6 hours of staff development between June 1, 2015 & December 5, 2015. All documentation is due to Tiffany Parkerson by the end of the day December 5, 2015.

How can I check to see if I already have comp time?

Log in to Eduphoria.

Click on Workshop.

Click on My Portfolio.

Note comp time under "Total credit earned to date"

If you have earned comp time from attending a district workshop, you do not need to submit any documentation. We will run a report through Eduphoria.

In addition, you can check updated comp time hours here.

What else can I do for comp time?

The 3 hours of bloodborne pathogen, child abuse, and sexual harassment training you did last summer in Eduhero may be used for comp time. You may not complete additional Eduhero courses for comp time due to district guidelines.

There are several You Matter Extended Training courses you can still take. Register here.

If you attended AVID, AP Workshops, athletic workshops, etc. during the summer when you were not on contract, provide documentation to Tiffany Parkerson to receive credit.

Comp time courses should be completed on your own time (NOT during school hours).
