Copyright & Creativity

for Ethical Digital Citizens

  • 10:00 - 12:00 PM
  • Presenter: Klaudia Janek
  • Description: Students grow up with powerful technologies to access, share, copy, generate, and collaborate on creative work in new and evolving ways. They consume online media, but also create, publish, distribute, and critique. In this rich environment, students must interact with creative work ethically and legally. Whether they know it or not, copyright and fair use are directly relevant to these activities. Through FREE unbiased curriculum that focuses positively on creating and sharing, attendees will reinforce their own copyright knowledge, get answers to situations in education, and participate in student lesson activities. Current teacher-librarians will share their experiences using C&C’s FREE K-12 resources including lessons, slides, videos, infographics and much more.
