Much to Celebrate!
Happy Fall! It seems like fall is finally here and we have much to celebrate. October was a very busy month at Walt Disney! Thank you to everyone who helped to make all the events very successful. We were happy to welcome so many parents during Parent/Teacher Conferences. We know our Walt Disney students will only be successful when we are all working together. I also want to say how much we appreciated the great turn out at the PHM School Board meeting. We were able to show off the many wonderful aspects of our school.
Please check out the rest of the bulletin for more exciting events coming up in November. I also hope you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you find time to relax and enjoy spending time with family!

Greetings from Miss Duerksen
It was so nice to see everyone at Parent/Teacher Conferences! Thank you for taking the time to have that valuable meeting with your child's teacher.
As the weather turns colder, please keep our recess guidelines in mind. If the temperature is below 60 degrees, students need jackets or coats. To play in the snow, please send in boots, snow pants, and gloves with your child. Students go outside for recess every day unless the windchill is below zero. Don't forget to mark all outdoor clothing with your child's name!

Tidbits From Mrs. Tachman
We are partnering with Michiana Chess (our own Mr. Patrick is the president) to explore the possibility of starting our own club for ANY Dolphin who wants to learn to play or wants to improve his or her chess game. Michiana Chess also hosts a Novice Scholastic Players Tournament for other school clubs in the area. We would participate in that as part of our own club activities.
If your child is interested in joining, or if you would be interested in helping out with a new chess club, please click on the link below and complete the Google Form to let me know!
Warmest regards,
