A Note from the Principal
Dear Families,
It has been an exciting Catholic Schools Week so far, and I hope that you will be able to join us for our closing Catholic Schools Week tomorrow, Friday, at 9:00 a.m. Your children are able to sit with you during Mass, however, we ask that you wait for them in the Church.
This past weekend, we received wonderful news that was the perfect kick-off to Catholic Schools Week 2020. I am so happy and proud to announce that Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School is one of the twelve finalists of the Innovations in Catholic Education Awards from Today's Catholic Teacher, a national magazine. This is an annual award given to schools with the best innovations in Catholic education and who implement effective, creative programs and projects. We submitted our nomination in the category of Promoting Catholic Identity for our Only One You project. You can read about it below. We are competing with two other schools from Colorado and Minnesota in this category, and the winner will be announced in the spring. We hope to hear good news in the spring.
Finally, thank you to all of you who joined us at any of our events during Catholic Schools Week! What a true blessing to be able to share in these events with you. Thank you for your fervent and constant support of Catholic education and Saint Paschal Baylon School!
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal

GRADE 3 PARENTS/GUARDIANS-we need you!
The link for February for Grade 3 can be found below.
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 3.
