Sora Reading App Gives Students Access to Library Content Online

Our district is committed to bringing unique learning opportunities to our students, and we are pleased to introduce a new student reading app called Sora that provides students with access to read digital books. The collection of titles in Sora is an extension of Lindbergh’s physical libraries, in an app format that provides 24/7 access to ebooks and audiobooks. In addition, our partnership includes access to the St. Louis County Library’s Juvenile collection as well. Sora can help students of all ages read more and improve comprehension. Students of all abilities and interest levels can benefit from this service.

Learn more about SORA by reading the note below.

A Note from the Lindbergh Librarians

Dear Lindbergh Families,

Lindbergh Schools is committed to bringing unique learning opportunities to our students and we are pleased to introduce a new, student reading app called Sora that provides students with access to read digital books.

Why Sora?

The collection of titles in Sora is an extension of Lindbergh’s physical libraries, in an app format that provides 24/7 access to ebooks and audiobooks. Sora can help students of all ages read more and improve comprehension. Students of all abilities and interest levels can benefit from this service.

How does it work?

Download the free Sora app from the Apple App store, Google Play Store or visit soraapp.com, sign in with your Lindbergh-issued email address, and enjoy anytime, anywhere on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Our partnership includes access to the St. Louis County Library’s Juvenile collection as well. All of the titles available are in compliance with Missouri’s SB775 law. Once students are logged in, they will have access to age appropriate titles based on the school where they are enrolled. Whether a student’s interest lies in classics for required reading, or the latest popular juvenile or young adult fiction, they can find it all in Sora.

The Sora app is available on district provided devices. Students and families are welcome to download the app and use it on personal devices as well.

Where can I find more information?
