REMOTE ONLY FAMILIES: RETURN TO LEARN - 4TH QUARTER OPTION INFORMATION
We’re hoping to expand our in-person hybrid classroom offerings on April 5 immediately following spring break. While we’re still discussing options, our goal is to offer as much live instruction as possible to as many students as possible each day and each week. We will not be able to finalize our detailed plan until we have an accurate number of students who are returning to in-person hybrid learning after spring break. The number of students who return will dictate how we can arrange classrooms to accommodate government health care guidelines from the CDC, IDPH and McHenry County Health Department, that are still in place. Currently, among the most significant guidelines is keeping students six feet apart. If you choose to stay in remote learning your student will have a very similar schedule to what he or she has now. Please indicate on the survey link below by Monday, March 1, 2021, whether you plan to send your student to school for in-person hybrid instruction beginning April 5. This will be the last opportunity to enroll your student in in-person hybrid instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. We appreciate how difficult this situation has been for all of our families, and we appreciate your continued support as we work to best meet the needs of our students and families.
Return to Learn - 4th Quarter Option

B day students: Tuesday, March 16
A day students: Wednesday, March 17
For Remote students, you can use the link below to sign up to bring your child to Olson if you would like pictures. No adults will be able to enter the building. Instead, you'll be able to drop them off in the car rider line at the front doors and then pull into the Olson parking lot by Door #4. You can wait there for them on the side of the building. Your child will only be in the building for about 10 minutes. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080C4AADAF2CABFA7-remote
If your child is Remote and you do not want them to come to school for Picture Day, you can still submit a picture for the Yearbook (see below)!
A note on masks: The photographers will simply ask one time, "Would you like to take off the mask for your portrait?" We will tell students that when it's their turn to take their picture, it is okay to remove the mask and hold it in their hands while their picture is taken and then put it back on when they are done.
Order online by visiting https://inter-state.com/order to view options and use order code "51778DA".
