6th Grade Curriculum Preview

Our Sixth Grade Curriculum Preview will be held Thursday evening, August 30th. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria.


This is an evening for you, our parents, to meet your child's teachers and to hear about our curriculum.


On Wednesday, your child will be bringing home a schedule for you to follow. Students receiving Accelerated or Intervention Programming services will receive a schedule from their individual teachers.


We are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday evening!

PBIS Corner

Your children are being taught the “Four Be’s” of Greene School using videos for each of the settings. Some of our former students are the stars of the show, demonstrating the “Aviator Way” of behaving in each setting. Our staff members had a great time showing the “Non-Aviator Way.”This could be a great conversation starter and a way to review those expectations with your child. Please Update Final Forms

Final Forms is where we get contact and medical emergency information. It needs to be updated each year. Please go into your final forms account and verify your information and electronically sign each form. The form name in the drop down box will turn green when complete. Thank you!

Breakfast cart

Just a reminder, car riders getting dropped off in the mornings, may come to the Front Lobby to get breakfast from the cart! No waiting for the bell!

Get Involved with the PTO

There are so many ways you can get involved at the Greene School. Our PTO offers many programs from whole school events like the Walk-a-thon to classroom activities facilitated by homeroom parents. Below you will find information and links to get involved!


Join the EH Greene PTO

Your membership dues support many activities and programs at E.H. Greene including assemblies, field day, science programs, new technology, community outreach, staff appreciation, and much more! PTO members also receive access to an app called “Directory Spot “ which allows you to access the student directory electronically. Operation Give Back (OGB) Food Pantry - Give What You CAN Collection

Sycamore Schools will be helping OGB collect food donations for their food pantry over the next few weeks. OGB assists many local families in need. The Greene School will have food donation barrels in our Cafeteria lobby during the Sixth Grade Curriculum Preview. Thank you for your support.

Sycamore Junior High Flight Fest 5k/10k Race & Festival - October 20th

Mark your calendars for the eighth annual Sycamore Junior High Flight Fest 5k/10k Race & Festival which will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018! Please visit our website at www.aviatorflightfest.com to register for the race and view more Flight Fest 2018 information. New this year-Those that register for the race will receive a custom made Flight Fest 2018 finishers medal in addition to Flight Fest t-shirt and swag bag. When registering for the race be sure to vote for your favorite SJH teacher to win a prize and a “surprise”. Stay posted for details on what that surprise entails! Hint-teacher may not like it, but students will! Race begins at 8am. and First Watch will provide breakfast for runners/walkers immediately following the race. The festival begins at 10am. with food, games, Silent Auction, and more! Also new this year-Silent Auction will be available online.
