Spartan Weekly
Shepard Middle School 10/29
Happy Halloween!
Good Evening Spartan Families,
We had a fantastically fun week, with an awesomely festive finish! Today, our hallways were full of creativity, spookiness and lots of clever costumes. To add to the excitement of the upcoming holiday, we concluded our staff Pumpkin Decorating Competition and raised over $200 to support the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry. Thank you to everyone who sent coins and cash for a good cause.
As you head into the weekend, please remember to take a look in Skyward Family Access to see updated Quarter 1 grades. Below you will find some preliminary information on our November Parent-Teacher Conferences, where you will have the opportunity to connect with your child's teachers and discuss their progress.
Don't forget to CLICK HERE, right now, to visit the Shepard Virtual Book Fair!
Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Are You Smarter...Final Round
This week's question is based on Halloween History:
Known for their mysterious illusions, mind boggling stunts and ability to escape from some "difficult" situations, this famous magician died on Halloween in 1926.
Indoor Dining
We have made the transition to full indoor dining. Tent 1 students have shifted into the lunchroom, with a new furniture layout. Tent 2 has moved into our Multipurpose Room.
Next week, as we adjust to our new eating environments, students will have a few days to make decisions on where they will sit.
All seats are positioned at 6 feet of distance from one another.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Wednesday 11/3 (5:30pm) - Please be on the the lookout for our Parent-Teacher Conferences Sign-Up Genius. Families will have the opportunity to sign up for 5 minute personal conferences with all of their child's teachers.
Zoom links and further information/details will be shared in the coming weeks.
