Garlic Mustard Seed Pull - Saturday, April 9th- Sign up by March 30th!
The Appalachian Experience team will be taking volunteers to Seneca Rocks to eradicate an invasive plant species--garlic mustard seed--from the area. The day will start out with finding and pulling the plants along the trails of Seneca Rocks, and in the afternoon we will go hiking on the Seneca Trail. If you are passionate about being outdoors or just in the mood to help, this would be a great volunteer opportunity for you!
This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Both lunch and transportation will be provided. If you have a meal plan, we ask you email winkie_mp@wvwc.edu with your student I.D. so that your regular meal plan will cover the cost of the bagged lunch. Please include any dietary restrictions. However, if you do not have a meal plan, your lunch will be covered through WE LEAD.
