Ojibwe Winter

  • Women dried meat over a fire

  • Women Cooked all the meals and sewed clothing

  • Men and boys hunted trapped fresh meat (moose, deer, and elk)

  • Children played in the snow (toboggans, snowshoes and snow flake game)

  • Olden women wove fish nets and watched the young children


Place: secluded camps in the woods away from other families


All year along the Ojibwe are preparing for Winter.
