Plate Boundaries
Class Project
Convergent
Convergent boundaries are formed when two tectonic plates collide forming either a subduction zone or a continental collision.
Divergent
Divergent Boundaries are two tectonic plates that are moving away from each other, causing new crust to be formed by the molten magma.
Transform
Transform Faults/Boundaries are when two plates slide alongside each other, like the San Andreas Fault, and can cause earthquakes.
