Agenda
11:00-11:55- self guided tour of Museum . Scavenger hunt will be provided.
12:00-12:30-- Planetarium -Solar Super Storms
12:30-1:00- Gift shop/ walk to State Capitol for lunch (please bring bagged lunches or purchase lunch at the Capitol cafeteria)-We will have a reserved table (section A) in the cafeteria.
1:00-2:00 pm-- Lunch!
2:00- 2:30 pm-- speak to your local representatives in the House and Senate!!
*Brown bagged lunches should be in boxes or coolers and distinctly marked with the school name**
Cost: $6 per person/ pay upon arrival (exact change please)

2:30-3:30-- Guided Capitol Tour!! (FREE)--PLEASE NOTE, I CAN ONLY TAKE 30 PEOPLE FOR THE CAPITOL TOUR. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE WILL BE THE PROCESS. ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE LIMITED AS THIS IS FOR THE STUDENTS PRIMARILY. ONCE I HAVE REACHED 30, I WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO TAKE RESERVATIONS. THANK YOU!

Purpose: Social and Educational
Educational Outcome: Students will increase their understanding of the vast and deep history of Pennsylvania. They will increase their knowledge the great architecture of the state and learn about the people who had a profound impact on the state. Students will increase their understanding of political process and how change occurs and how they are a key part of the political process.
OLS Hours: 120 minutes of history 30 minutes of science.
Don't Forget!
An adult chaperone must stay on-site for all PA Virtual events.
Shoes must be worn at all times.
All PA Virtual events are smoke-free.
Pets should never be brought to PA Virtual events.
To limit the spread of possible flu, please do not attend a PA Virtual event if you have had a fever within 24 hours of the event.
In consideration of our students with allergies, please refrain from bringing balloons or food containing nut products.
All PA Virtual events are weapon, drug, and tobacco free.”
