Congratulation Lego Robotics Team
Congratulations to Teams 492 and 493 on the competition last weekend at the Buffalo Grove sectionals! Team 492 was the winner of the Engineering Excellence Award and Team 493 was the winner of the Robot Design Award. Both teams advance to the State Championship at Elgin Community College on February 17. Well done, Robotics team!
Basketball Championship!
Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team who finished out their season with a 1st place championship win in their bracket last weekend at the competitive Joey Sykes Tournament. The team did a great job, going 5-0 which resulted in a 1st place win and a trophy to bring home to Lincoln! What an awesome way to end the season!
Lost and Found
Parents are welcome to come into the office and sign in to check the Lost and Found before it is donated to charity. Items will be donated Monday, February 5, 2024. Students will be reminded to check for lost items in morning announcements.
Pride Club
Welcome to Lincoln’s Pride Club, a place where friendship, acceptance, and understanding shine brightly! Our club is all about creating a fun and inclusive space for students of every background. At Pride Club, we celebrate the wonderful diversity of our school’s community. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, everyone is welcome to join. Together, we will learn, grow, and make a positive impact on our school environment. Please join us to make new friends, share experiences, and help make our school a place where everyone feels valued.

Ms. Thomas Announces Cabaret Auditions
Come to the Cabaret! Auditions for the Lincoln Spring Cabaret are right around the corner. Do you sing? Dance? Tumble? Juggle? Have some other amazing talent? Come join us for a show of one hit wonders! Auditions will be Tuesday, February 13, after school in Ms. Thomas's room. Interested in joining the stage crew or being an emcee? We need you too! Audition packets will be available in the office next week. Contact Ms. Thomas with any questions.
PTO Hosts Annual Ski Trip
Join us for the annual Lincoln PTO Ski Trip, this year on Sunday, February 11th! It will be a fun day on the slopes at Mountain Top Ski Hill at Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI. (9:00am - 3:00pm)
All families are welcome! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER, to join in on the fun! Registration is required for all Lincoln students and closes on January 29th. This year we are offering free bus transportation for those that want to attend! Limit of (65) students, so be sure to sign up early to get a spot! You can also drive with your family or carpool with another! We hope to see you there!
PTO's Chicago Wolves Hockey Game Family Day
PTO invites Lincoln families and friends for a day of fun at a Chicago Wolves hockey game. All attendees will receive a FREE Chicago Wolves knit hat and be seated together in the same section.

Digital Citizenship in the Digital Age
District 57 is excited to announce a special school-to-family engagement event happening at Lincoln Middle School on Wednesday, January 31 at 6 PM. Celebrated author, professor & media literacy expert Julie Smith will offer a 50-minute insightful presentation on how your child can thrive online.
WESTBROOK SCHOOL FOR YOUNG LEARNERS KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
We have begun the registration and enrollment process for the 2024/2025 school year.
We are currently pre-enrolling Kindergarten & NEW to Westbrook 1st Graders!
If your student will be a kindergartener next school year OR if you will have a 1st grader who will be NEW to Westbrook next year, please visit the WESTBROOK website for all the details. Look for the information under the 2024-2025 Registration and Enrollment header.

PEPS Meeting at Lincoln | February 1 at 10:00 am
The next PEPS mini meeting will review how to support your child with executive functioning. Executive functioning skills include organization, time management, self-regulation/control, and engagement in goal-directed behavior. PEPS (Partnering with Educators and Parents to Support student needs) is a networking group for parents of children with special needs in any of the District 57 schools.
