Please put together some type of visual for your club or organization (ie, brochure, poster board, tri-fold board) and a sign-up sheet. If you are the only sponsor for your group, please work with your peers in other grade levels to man your table.

Spotlight: Ms. C. Lewis, Ms. Pledger, Mrs. Gill, Ms. De La Rosa, Ms. Salazar, Ms. Clark, and Ms. Leake
I would like to spot light these teachers for taking the time to bring their students to the library this week for library procedures and expectations and to check out books. All students were well behaved and teachers did an awesome job of monitoring students. It is much appreciated.
Spotlight on: Ms. Jefferson
This week, I’d like to spotlight Ms. Jefferson. I walked by her room at the beginning of the class period and saw her having the students practicing multiplication facts as they entered – what a great way to energize students at the beginning of class and induce competition to get them excited about learning!
Spotlight on: Mrs. Madrigal
Ms. Madrigal has been extremely helpful with copies for us in the SPED department during these first couple of weeks! She is very polite and works fast! Her smile and presence on campus has been wonderful! It is a pleasure to have her just a few doors down J
Instructional Highlight: Mr. Kattan - 7th Grade Science
Mr. Kattan utilized his training from the SMU-STEM program with the overage students in Science this week. As they were learning about cell structures, he decided to present them with an opportunity to design and create a structure that would represent parts of the cell. Despite initial hesitations, Mr. Kattan jumped in and allowed the students to work collaboratively on completing the task.
The students were all actively engaged and immersed in the task.
Mr. Kattan embraced the challenge and his students didn’t disappoint!!! Way to go
