Welcome to Week 15
Greetings Clinton Valley Families,
The holidays are quickly approaching, and we have a lot of good stuff going on at Clinton Valley. First, I would like to thank the PTO and all of the volunteers that made the Santa Shop such a HIT. We had to restock our gifts multiple times because the turnout was fantastic. Thank you to all of you that participated. We hope you receive some special prizes from your kiddos!
We also have a program called, "The Giving Tree" that is put on by our social worker, Monica Weaver. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to those in need, as well as to get a little help this holiday season. Look below for the information.
We also have our winter holiday concert performance put on by our music teacher Autumn Jarrett. This show will feature our1st, 3rd, and 4th graders. It is next week; December 13th at 6:00 p.m. and we hope to see you there!
Lastly, we have 12 days of holiday spirit starting today! We hope it spreads some cheer!
Thank you to all of the families who came out to celebrate PEN night for grades 3-5. It was so much fun to hang with all of you. The teachers had a lot of fun watching the families together!
Have a wonderful week!

Art Announcement
Thank you all so much for participating in the Square 1 Art fundraiser this year. We were able to raise $1968.55! That means we'll be receiving a little over $300 for our Art program, and we'll be able to purchase all new paintbrushes for our students. Again, thank you and we can't wait to see what our artists create with these new supplies!

Lunch Procedures
We do have specific procedures that we are still working on implementing. Students must stay in their seats at all times and be at a voice level 2 or lower. This means that any form of yelling or screaming is not permitted. It can get very loud in the cafeteria, so we will continue to remind them to keep the noise levels down. There have been instances where we had to implement a level 0 (no talking) and a level 1(whispering) so that they understand the difference.
Additionally, we are working on making sure that those who go through the lunch line, get everything that they need in order to avoid going back. For safety purposes, we do not want them traveling back and forth from their seats. Therefore, soon, we will not permit it. Instead, we will have a traveling basket for those who need additional items. We have been working on this for an entire month. We also understand that the littler ones may need more practice with this, but ultimately, we would like everyone to stay seated for the entire 30 minutes.
