Norman North principals and counselors will be at Longfellow on Monday, Feb. 13 during Advisory to talk to all 8th graders about courses and schedules. They will be back on Friday, February 17 to input schedule requests through the social studies classes.


If any student is planning on attending Norman High School, let Mrs. Breshears know.

What is LOMA “Win a $40,000 or a Steinway” Ticket you ask?

A local business man and higher education teachers came together and created LOMA – Local Oklahoma Music Association. The purpose of LOMA is to help local music education programs such as our LMS Band, Choir and Orchestra. Our school music programs will receive 100% of the tickets we sell.

$10 Each Cash or Check – Make checks out to LOMA.


You must be 18 years or older and have a valid social security number to enter. The winning ticket must have a legible name and phone number. A ticket without a legible name and phone number will be disqualified. You need not be present to win.


How do I get tickets?

PTA Council seeking performers for Lip Sync Battle

The Norman PTA Council is seeking performers for their upcoming Lip Sync Battle! Registration forms are due Monday, Feb. 13. Show the community your true talent and click here to register!

Spring Sports Update

Slow pitch softball parent and player meeting will be at 6pm in the LMS library on February 16. Contracts will be handed out on February 14. The first practice will be begin on February 21 at 4pm. See Coach Tiff for more information.



Tennis - First day of practice is Monday, February 13th at 5 pm at Westwood. A sports physical must be turned in to the school/coach and all digital forms on Rank One must be completed before your student-athlete can practice.



Students interested in participating in track and field at Longfellow may sign up in the library, or complete the following Google form before February 10th:

There will be a mandatory meeting for all parents and athletes on Thursday, February 16th at 5:30pm in the LMS Auditorium. This meeting will include requirements and procedures, t-shirt orders, fundraiser information, and practice and meet schedule. Practice starts Friday, February 17th, after school at Norman North. An important change to note: athletes will change in the LMS locker rooms immediately after school and then catch the bus on the street behind the school. Busses will leave at 3:55, there will be no changing rooms available at NN this year due to construction.

Athletes are not allowed to practice unless there is a completed physical on file. Please login to
