Book Tasting at Collegiate Academy

Mrs. Burke’s class attended a book tasting in order to expand student’s palates and give them a “taste” or exposure to books they may not choose for themselves from the classroom library. The purpose of a book tasting is to encourage, excite, and motivate students to become active readers and more invested in their learning. Students also enjoy discussing books and learning from each other in order to build classroom community.
