PRODUCTIVE

During the month of November, Woodward Park Wildcats will focus on our Core Value of being PRODUCTIVE!

When students are being PRODUCTIVE, they are using their time wisely during the school day. PRODUCTIVE students are focused in class and focused on accomplishing assignments, homework and studying. They follow our hallway guidelines to get to their next class quickly and quietly, they use their restroom passes correctly, and they listen carefully to lunch and recess directions. When students are PRODUCTIVE, they are sure to succeed inside and outside of the classroom!

Self Awareness

When students are PRODUCTIVE, they are showing great Self Awareness Skills!

"Self Awareness: the abilities to understand one's own emotions, thoughts and values and how they influence behavior across contexts. This includes capacities to recognize one's strengths and limitations with a well-grounded sense of confidence and purpose."

Self Awareness Looks Like:

Integrating personal and social identities; learning to "just be yourself!"

Identifying your emotions

Linking your feelings, values and thoughts

Having a growth mindset (Check out this video!)

Examining your prejudices and biases

Developing your sense of purpose
