Important News for Multilingual Learners at Lake Bluff
30 April 2021
May is almost here! One of my favorite places in our school building is the courtyard. Right now, the spring flowers are in bloom! Above you will see photos of the courtyard's daffodils, crocus, may apple, Virginia bluebells, and my favorite Wisconsin wildflower, the trillium. If you go for a forest walk in the area right now, you might find many trillium in bloom. They take five to seven years to bloom for the first time; this means it takes a lot of patience and waiting for them to flower, but once they get started, they can fill entire forest floors with their three-petaled blooms.
