It works as a deterrent for cancer by irradiating it, there by destroying the cells that make up cancer.

The side effects include: fatigue, skin damage, and mucositis.


How they do it

They start by injecting radioactive substances to the area of the tumor. Next they put you under a machine that shoots concentrated radiation into that area. During that the tumor gets trapped in the radioactive liquid and the radioactive rays, both decomposing it.
